FOLDERS WILL BE SET UP AFTER SEPTEMBER 1ST!!!!!
If you are in the Pop Culture classes and DO NOT have a homework folder and/or password, please reply here.
If you are NEW to the forum, please check your Private Messages folder before responding to this thread. Your password should be in the PM folder.
It goes like this:
You sign up for class.
I accept you into class.
You sign up for the forum.
Mopsy or I accept your registration and create your folder and PM you your password.
ALL assignments go in your folders! |

Very important link, this: CLASS GRADING SHEET
Whenever something is graded/submitted, we update this sheet.
The columns in red are MANDATORY things--the folks highlighted in yellow are done for the term.
I will award Quills after June 15th.
Some of you turned in the exam, but are missing assignments. You have to do the mandatory work and the assignments! 
Any questions, let me know.
ALL due June 15th. As of 5:57 p.m. EST, June 9th, grading is caught up. Belle and I will continue to grade as it comes in.

Herbology II students should notice that their exam is up and ready, as well as a "Bonus Lesson." Both are due no later than June 15th.
ALSO--keep an eye on the grading page (which is linked in each class section)--you MUST turn in all mandatory assignments in order to be able to do the Exam--Quill=exam & mandatory assignments!
Muggle Studies students also have a link to a special project for extra credit.
EVERYTHING is due by June 15th! |

ALL work is DUE no later than June 15th--midnight HOL time!
This includes lessons, projects, and FINAL EXAMS. Any student not turning in mandatory work by this date will not pass the class and will NOT receive a Quill.
Your non-mandatory work is also due by June 15th. You do NOT have to turn this work in to pass (this includes Extra Credit, Herb Journals, and Projects)...but, if you want credit, you'll need to have it in by this time!
Herb Journals are on a month-by month basis...the one for June will also be due on June 15th.

Where is Anya these days?
Well, I was out of town (for 8 days...spread out between two weeks) with a family emergency.
And, now, my entire household is in a wedding in May. And, since I'm one of the Bride's oldest friends, the Maid of Honor and I are doing a LOT of the work.
Those of you who have been involved in weddings will probably understand...those who haven't...well...trust me--it's a lot of work! LOL
So...if things aren't graded immediately, please be patient with me. I have two lessons to get up and running, hopefully at some point today or tonight.
I have a LOT on my plate right now...so, please be patient with me.
I can only do so many things at once. And, right now, I'm wedding waterlogged. *nods*

I'm out of town with a family emergency. Any questions that Mopsy and/or Belle can't field, I'll deal with when I get back.
The website will be fixed so that the other sites don't open in the frames (ie tiny window) as soon as I can. Right now that's not a priority for me. 
If you right click on the links, you can open them in a new window or tab (if your browser does tabs).

| Points, Quills, and Passing, Oh My! |

Yes, I'm spending the bulk of today going cross-eyed with looking at so many numbers!
I'm grading, submitting points, awarding awards, and in general closing things out.
However, I will not be awarding Quills and Passing everyone until around January 25th. This means that if you have NOT gotten your final assignments and exam in...you might want to do so NOW.
The bonus lesson for Herbology is no longer available, nor are any bonus points or awards. Those go to those who got everything done by the actual due date. 
Any questions, let me know! Thank you to EVERYONE for all of your hard work!

Info on NEXT TERM:
I will NOT be offering Advanced PC next term. We'll run again with new lessons in the Fall of 2008.
I WILL be offering both Muggle Studies and Intro to PC again next term--they will NOT be new lessons.
I WILL be offering Herbology II, which is less kitcheny and more random planty.
I will ONLY be offering Herbology II and Muggle Studies for the Spring Term of 2008. Just an update! Pop Culture will return in some new form in the Fall of 2008. Keep a weather eye on the horizon! |

A LOT of you haven't taken your final exams...or done all of the assignments required (this is across the board for all classes!).
I've just published the latest set of grades. I suggest taking a look at them to see where you stand.
Remember, everything is due January 15th!

I know...I know...I'm behind on grading!
I'm going to be grading the backlog of stuff this Sunday. And, I have a nice handful of days off in December, so, I'll be keeping up a bit better this month.
Will update the excel list when I grade. Thanks! |

Firstly, and most importantly...I've set my due date for ALL materials from ALL of my classes.
Everything is going to be due on: January 15, 2008, midnight HOL-time. Look in the Upper Right-Hand Corner to see when that is!
Now, an update on what's coming up in the next month and a half for my classes:
ALL Projects, exams, bonus lessons, and lessons are up and ready to go!
Want to pass and gain a quill? Make sure you've done ALL of the mandatory assignments and taken/passed the exam! |

Greetings, my Advanced PC students! I have a question for you:
Have you finished reading "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"? I'll need to know, as I'm using spoilery stuff from Book 7 in my November lesson.
If you HAVE NOT read the book, PLEASE let me know asap. We'll need to find a different something for you to work on for November points. I'm also posting this in the Class Forum.
